This shoot was so out of my normal scope of work, but and I am so grateful for Crystal trusting me, and encouraging me to push the boundary on my creativity!

Crystal makes fine jewelry using stones and crystals, paired with gold and silver elements. She explained to me how she gathers inspiration for her pieces from interior + exterior designs of buildings and from vintage jewlery as well.

She wanted her images to feel cinematic, and for them to feel like they were telling a story, as her pieces often do. Crystal wanted the session to have a very filtered/vintage feel to them. She was very involved in every aspect of the session from the planning, to the styling, and most importantly the editing process.

We set up a time for a video call while I was in the post production process, so she could give me her opinion on some of the editing I had already started. While some clients leave all of the details of the shoot to me, Crystal had a very clear vision for her branding session, and I wanted to make sure we acheived that so I was grateful to have her involvement during this process.

After a few adjustments, we came to a mutual decision on what the final images should look like, and I continued the editing process to wrap up her gallery.
