Makers N Shakers

I have so many wonderful things to say about these events, so I’m not even sure where to start?!

Makers N Shakers is a community of artisans and makers that pop-up at the Rancho Guejito Vineyard in Escondido, CA every month. This market was founded by Jasmine Noyce, a creative/photographer located in the area. She noticed while participating as a vendor in other markets herself, that there was a hole in the market for more monthly communites like these, so she created one herself! We met virtually through a mutual friend, and hit it off right away, so shortly after that I became the official “Makers N Shakers” photographer!

I was the photographer for these events for about 2 years! Each month, I would make the 2 hour drive from San Diego to meet 60+ vendors, photograph their booths and the happenings at the event that day (each one normally had a different theme with live music and classes) and occasionally grab a glass of wine.

This community was one of my favorite parts about my time in California. I spent so much time talking with all of the vendors, and getting to know all of their products as well as the makers who spend so much time crafting them.

If you’re local to San Diego, PLEASE go to one of these events! If you’re not local to the area, be sure to give @makersnshakers a follow on IG, as they share all of the vendor information 24/7 and they are truly some of the best small businesses I have ever met. IF you’re looking for high quality and unique hand made gifts for this holiday season, this is your “one shop stop!”
