The Box Co-Op

This shoot for The Box Co-Op was filled of color and high contrast. This company focuses on creating custom packaging for businesses all over the US! They wanted to take on a more modern approach to e-commerce photos, creating images that highlighted the products, without using the standard “photos on an all white backdrop” approach. These types of images will help them stand out from their competitors.

Once I received the products, I went through all of my solid colored backdrops to see which ones would compliment each example best. For some of the boxes, I chose a backdrop that matched the brand it was representing, and for other I chose a color that was the opposite to help the specific design stand out a bit more.

I used a harsh bright light to create the high contrast look that they were going for. Fun Fact! I actually photographed these images on my front porch in the afternoon! Direct sunlight is the perfect type of lighting to achieve deep, dark shadows in your images. For a behind the scenes look, check out this reel we posted once the final images were completed.
