Tackett Family

This family was so laid back, ready for anything, and had me laughing the entire session. The boys played along willingly with all of my games and jokes, and even wanted to come up with their own when it was time for just mom and dad to be photographed!

Mom reached out to me a few days before the session and she was laughing so hard because she totally forgot that one of the boys currently had a mullet, and the other one had a mohawk! She let them pick their own hairstyles since it was summer time! ;)

I told her it didn’t bother me at all, and I loved that each of their haircuts was a way for them to express themselves at this age. It would be something she’d look back on and remember forever.

She agreed, and just had them style their cuts in a more formal way for the session and we moved on accordingly with planning the session.

While planning the “perfect” photo session is always ideal, down to picking the perfect location, the perfect attire, and the perfect hairstyles, I feel strongly that each family is unique. It’s important to me that capture those fun, quirky, things about your family during our session, because that’s what makes your family, your family!
