Senior Session - Raeya

What a fun session! I absolutely love photographing senior sessions. I remember planning my senior photos, my photographer helped pick out my outfits, and even had a background in hair/make up and offered her services for my session. She made it such a special experience, including both my mom and my sister, and even my best friend at the time! She totally documented who I was during that chapter of my life, and I love looking back on those photos. Fast forward 10 years later, and as a mom myself now, I understand the importance of documenting such a transitional part of life for others.

This session was so sentimental to me - Graduating senior, Raeya, was actually one of the very first girls I was a nanny for in high school/college. I spent most of my summers taking them to and from gymnastics, hanging out by my grandma’s pool, and even had to take her to get stitches one time! She’s grown into such a beautiful young woman, and I’m so happy I was able to reconnect with her and her mom during this session.

She requested photos in the coastal town of South Haven, MI and it was so fun! We started on the beach front, moved over to the harbor, and wrapped things up in the shopping district. It was giving “Outer Banks” vibes, and she had the best attire for the session! Love how much variety we got out of her 1 hour session.
