Shellie + Ted

This shoot was so special for me to shoot.

My older cousin Shellie, reached out and asked me to take her engagement photos! I was of course so excited to be able to document this milestone for her. There’s something so special about photography milestones such as an engagement, or maternity photos, or a newborn session. It makes me feel like I get to be a part of my client’s story.

However, when the bride to be is one of your closest cousins, it is incomparable. Being able to document so many fun times together over the years, this one definitely takes the cake thus far!

We decided to take the photos at the same park where Ted had proposed, in a few of their favorite spots. It was an overcast and chilly afternoon in early spring, but the weather was perfect for cozying up with a glass of champagne.

Shellie requested “filmy” and “moody” edits, making these images a bit more intimate.
